Silent Auction Information

Now Seeking Silent Auction Items for 2017

As many of you know the Silent Auction has been a tradition of the APAI Annual Training Conference for a long time and will continue this year in our international location. This year will be no different and it is time to coordinate your agencies contribution for the auction. We are asking for items that have a state, country, or regional interest, something that could be of interest to our profession. Be creative, what is your area most known for? Does your prison industry have a specialty item that could be donated? We need you and your donations to make this event a success. We would like every area of the world to be represented, if for some reason you are unable to attend, please try to have your area represented by your auction item.

Donated items can be mailed or shipped directly to Vancouver ahead of the conference for your convenience. The Canadian Host Committee will be collection your items and bringing them to the conference in April. Please ship to the attention of:

Harold Massey
#200 – 1925 McCallum Road

To assist in the shipping efforts for customs we have contracted with Davidson & Sons, Customs Brokers, so please contact them for special instructions. If you are not from Canada and plan to bring the item with you, print a copy of the attached letter and keep it with your travel documents. Please include this letter with all shipped items. Anyone shipping to Canada must be in contact with Davidson & Sons so they can use the special privileges contained within the letter to process all materials through customs. For any items coming into the country you must work with a specialized customs broker such as Davidson & Sons. Should you have any questions please contact them directly at 604-666-1294, Remy Perrot.

We look forward to a successful auction!
